Virtual Labs Nigeria (as a company) is a subsidiary of ESL Nigerial Limited.
As an idea, it is the notion that significant cost savings can be achieved with a commensurate increase in the value added via human capital if we embrace a new paradigm in scientific and engineering education.
We want to move the expensive and thus non-existent high tech laboratories in Africa and the rest of the world from the physical space into the virtual space--into the world of graphics based computing.
Now a microscope, an oscilloscope, and other expensive lab equipment come all at the same time, just for the cost of one computer!
Experiments are realistically simulated and emphasis is placed on the scenarios that occur frequently in real experiments along with the most common mistakes students make....
